Economic 101 and VCREME jointly hold a talk with Professor Steven Shwiff – Texas A & M University. Professor Steven has taught 21 years at Texas A & M, Visiting Professor at China University of Geosciences – Beijing and College of Humanities and Economics.
He is Chief Economist of the Economic and Demographic Forecasting Project, Director of the Center for Economic and Regional Development Studies. GS has extensive experience in the areas of research: Urban and Regional Economics, Invasive Species Economics, Time Series / Forecasting.
Professor Stenven will share his current researches on Economic impacts of zoonotic diseases and give advices for research proposals.
The talk also involved the daughter of Prof. Steven – Dr. Stephanie Shwiff, who is currently doing some research projects in Vietnam.
