Recruitment PhD on Water policy and Economics
University of California Irvine and Vcreme requires a full scholarship for a project as follows:
1) improved strategies for flood risk management through quantifying broad socio-economic impacts of floods and community responses;
2) incorporating consumer behavior into decision support tools for urban water systems in water scarce regions.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water resources, environmental economics, environmental sciences, or related disciplines. Previous experience with econometric modeling and statistical software are preferred.
